Tracy Spencer
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Tracy has over 30 year’s physiotherapy experience as a clinician, researcher and lecturer. She began her career with an interest in sports physiotherapy, and over time has expanded her interests to include spinal pain and its complexities. Undertaking a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at UQ Tracy began her career providing inpatient physiotherapy services for neurosurgery patients at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
Tracy’s areas of interest include headache and face pain, post-neurosurgery rehabilitation, spinal dysfunction and fibromyalgia.
Tracy’s combined knowledge of biomechanics, movement analysis and complex neuromusculoskeletal presentations allows her to create simple strategies to complex problems.
Tracy plays an active role in the physiotherapy profession in Australia and she is currently the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) representative for Brisbane South Primary Health Network (BSPHN) and an AHPRA panel member. She has enjoyed the past positions of Chair of National Advisory Council of Australian Physiotherapy Association, President of APA Qld, Member of the Queensland Board of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and Accreditation surveyor for QIP/AGPAL.
