Dr Megan Broughton is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist.
She is passionate about helping adults and their family members cope with challenges
associated with neurological and health conditions, accident and disability. She has a
particular interest in treating adults with functional neurological disorders (FND) including
dissociative attacks, as well as in treating adults and older adults with cognitive difficulties.

Megan offers neuropsychological assessments for clinical purposes, as well as health
professional education and psychology supervision services.

Megan completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with honours, as well as the
Clinical and Clinical Neuropsychology PhD program at the University of Queensland. Her
research examined neuropsychological and neurophysiological indices of healthy ageing, mild
cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. After the completion of her PhD, Megan
commenced a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Queensland which
focussed on training caregivers to support communication and memory difficulties in people
with dementia. Her recent research publications have been in the area of brain injury and
FND.
